Miranda Otto is the daugther of Barry Otto, an Australian actor.
She is graduated from the prestigious Australian theatrical school, NIDA.
She played the role as Eowyn in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Her other movie credits include Human Nature, In My Father's Den and Flight of the Phoenix.
In 2005, she will appear in Steven Spielberg's remake of War of the Worlds alongside Tom Cruise.
