Mena Adrienne Suvari was born in Newport, Rhode Island to Ando Sovari, an Estonian psychiatrist, and Candice Sovari, a nurse.
Her acting career started when she appeared in Rice-a-Roni commercial at age 13. Mena Suvari graduated from Providence High School in Burbank, California.
She has made some guest appearances on Boy Meets Girls, ER and Chicago Hope. Mena Suvari also appeared in some movies, including Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd.
Suvari got her career breakthrough when she landed a role in American Pie in 1999 as Heather. She has shown her great acting talent in American Beauty which won 5 Oscars.
