Liam Neeson was born in Northern Ireland. He worked as a truck driver, forklift operator and even amateur boxer before he pursued a career in acting.
In 1976, Neeson joined the Belfast Lyric Players' Theater. He had his professional acting debut in the play "The Risen People".
In 1981, Liam was casted in Excalibur. He has appeared in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List in 1993. He was nominated for the Golden Globe and Academy Award for his role in the movie.
His other movies including Gang of New York, Love Actually and Kinsey.
In 2005, he will appear in Kingdom of Heaven and Batman Begins.
