Born in a working class family in January 17, 1962, Jim grew up poor. He dropped out from high school because of hard economic reason.
Jim Carey began his comedy career at 15, when he performed at Yuk Yuk's, a famous Toronto comedy club.
At age 19, Jim moved to LA.
Now Jim Carey is one of the funniest comedian/actors in Hollywood. He starred in many blockbuster movies, such as Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, The Mask, and many more. He had also proved that he can act serious with his performance in The Truman Show and Man on the Moon.
