Jason Priestley was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world in 1991 and 1992. In August 1992, he was seriously injured when he crashed his race car into a wall during a practice lap at Kentucky Speedway. He suffered from fractured spine, broken bones and concussion. He was completely recovered in October 2002.
