Jackie Chan was born in Hong Kong to a working class family. His birth name is Kong-sang Chan.

He studied at Chinese Opera School where he learn his opera skills, including singing, dancing, martial arts, acrobatics and gymnastics.

Jackie directs many movies with his unique style which combines action and comedy. His popular "Drunken Master" and "Police Force" series was one of the biggest box office movie in Asia.

In 1995, Jackie had his first succes in US market with "Rumble in the Bronx".

In the same year, Jackie Chan received a Lifetime Achievement Award in MTV Movie Awards event.

In 2004, Jackie starred in "Around the World in 80 Days" where he played as a Chinese thief seeking refuge as the traveling companion of an eccentric London inventor who has taken on a wager that he can make it around the globe in a mere 80 days.
