Frankie Muniz was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey as Francisco James Muniz IV. He was raised in Knightdale, North Carolina. Frankie has been home-schooled since Grade Six.
He started his acting career performing the role of Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol" for three years. Muniz got his breakthrough career when he played in Fox's Malcolm in the Middle.
Frankie is quite a good golfer and has been playing since his grandfather taught him at the age of 5.
Some critics predicted that Muniz would fail to carry his childhood television success into an adult career. He has proven that it's not true. He has starred in many big movies, such as Big Fat Liar, Agent Cody Banks and Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. He has also been nominated for "The Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award", as well as "The Young Artist of Hollywood Award".
