Elle Macpherson was born in Sydney, Australia as Eleanor Gow.
She was vacationing in Aspen, Colorado when Click modeling agency discovered her.
Also known as "The Body", Elle Macpherson has a very succesful career as model. She has appeared on many magazine covers, such as Cosmopolitan and Vogue.
In 1990 , she had her acting debut when she played a small role inAlice. "For 15 years, I've been playing the same character -- which is myself -- and I'm bored with 'myself'.", she said on why she loves acting.
In 1994, she appeared in "Sirens", in which she was required to gain 20 pounds. She also appeared in Batman and Robinsand The Edge in 1997.
