Denis Leary plays the role of Tommy Gavin in Rescue Me, an FX Networks hit series about a firefighter.
Denis Leary lost his cousin in a warehouse fire in his hometown of Worcester. He founded the Leary Firefighters' Foundation in response to the tragic accident. Leary co-creates the FX series, Rescue Me, inspired from his interest on firemen. During 9/11, Denis Leary got behind the wheel of a fire truck helping the New York Fire Department.
Denis Leary is the cousin of Conan O'Brien, NBC late night show host.
