BoA Kwon is a popular Korean singer. Boa was found by Korean promotion giant, SM Entertainment when she was 11.
SM's idea was to make a huge star that would represent Asia. They trained Boa in dancing and singing and also foreign languages. Boa was taught both English and Japanese.
The hard trainings have paid off. Boa Kwon has became one of the most popular artist in Asia. She had received The Most Influential Artist and The Favorite Artist Korea at the MTV Awards.
In March 2002, after releasing her first Japanese album LISTEN TO MY HEART, she has become the first non-Japanese Asian artist to top the album charts in Japan.
