Alexis Bledel started her career as a model but made famous by her role in TV series, Gilmore Girls.
Bledel attended NYU studying film after graduated from Saints Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas. She got the role as Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls in Spring 2000. After that she moved to Los Angeles.
She came from a Mexican-Argentinian family. She has one younger brother, Eric David Bledel. Alexis' first languange is Spanish, she learned English in school.
Besides TV, Alexis also appears in movies such as Tuck Everlasting, Sin City and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
